THE BRANCHING VOLUME
This project is a result of my efforts to comprehend my chosen flower, Hydrangea, analyzing it, using a variety of sources, and constructing the deisgn phase idea of building a functional glass house inside a built-in structure on Myrtle Avenue in Brooklyn.

Process Diagram
Inspired by the hydrangea flower, my design began with analyzing its structure—where five to six stems converge at a central point to form each petal. This pattern naturally led to the use of hexagonal geometry, reflecting the flower’s inherent symmetry. I applied this concept to the site by designing a vertical glass hexagonal structure to house a new flower workshop. The result is a functional and visually striking space that fuses organic form with modular precision.
Where Ideas Take Shape.
Floor plans of a dynamic two-level space designed for creativity and connection. The first floor blends natural forms and open zones for gathering, while the second floor offers structured, flexible areas for focused work and collaboration.
